SDPA State Testing
Dear SDPA Students and Parents,
As we approach the Spring 2026 state academic testing period, I want to emphasize the importance of your child's attendance and punctuality during this time. These tests are crucial for assessing our students' progress and ensuring they receive the support they need to succeed.
Here are a few key points to keep in mind:
Attendance is Essential: It is imperative that all students are present and on time for each day of testing. Missing even a single day can impact their overall performance. Please mark your calendars now.
Full Commitment: Students must stay for the duration of testing. Sessions cannot be continued at a later time. Being committed helps them remain focused and prepared for any subsequent sessions. This also allows us as a school, and district, to meet testing guidelines and requirements. Once finished, they are able to call home for a prompt pick up, or drive themselves home.
Avoid Appointments and Travel: We kindly ask that you refrain from scheduling any appointments or travel during the testing period. This will help ensure your child can dedicate their full attention to the tests without distractions.
Preparation and Rest: Please encourage your child to get plenty of rest the night before each testing day and to come to school prepared to do their best.
Your support in these matters is invaluable, and we appreciate your cooperation in ensuring that our students are set up for success. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out.
Thank you for your partnership.
Sincerely,
Your SDPA Teachers and Mrs. Flores
